Men's Connect is open to all men. It is a place to disconnect from the cares and pressures of life and to connect with the power of God and the refreshing presence of the Holy Spirit. We meet twice per month with the intention of applying ourselves to the Word of God and allowing the presence of the Holy Spirit to change lives for good.

God is good and we can believe to see His goodness show forth in every area of our lives. For this reason it is important to attend to the Word of God in order that faith will be built in the lives of men to see breakthroughs and victory in every area of life. We aim to provide a friendly and safe environment to enjoy the company of other men and to learn and grow in the Word of God and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Now, more than ever, we need to know the will of God for our lives and learn how to hear His voice and know His leading and direction for our lives. At Men’s Connect, a clear focus is to instruct and teach men how to seek and know the leading of the Holy Spirit as well as providing an environment where Godly friendships develop and to provide support and encouragement.

So, if you are a man, it'd be great to have you along where you can be a part of experiencing the power of God, building our faith together and learning more about God's will for our lives through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

If you are a woman, we'd like to invite you to join us at Ladies Connect. At Heritage of Faith Toowomba we have both a Men's and a Ladies Connect so that regardless of your gender, we have a group for you where you can meet, fellowship, share and learn from others.

As women, we have issues, circumstances and feelings particular only to our gender (child birth is one such thing, but there are other, less obvious things like the way we interact with people). So, with this in mind, our mission at Ladies Connect is to provide a safe, friendly environment for learning about the love and presence of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit in our everyday, practical lives. Christ takes our burdens and helps us with everything by giving us His wisdom for all things.

At Ladies Connect we meet to share with each other and do life together. We'd love to see you at our next monthly get together. Check our calendar for the date of our next meeting.

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."

Prayer is the life blood of our walk with God. It is the expression of our fellowship with the Father, with our Lord Jesus and with the Holy Spirit. Teena and I recognise and value the vital importance of effective, result producing, life changing prayer. Our desire is to teach people how to pray effectively, and to continue to grow ourselves as we follow the Holy Spirit's leading.

Our Connect Group is for anyone who wants to either learn how to pray, or to join with others to pray for our families, our church fellowship, our city, our nation and globally as the Holy Spirit leads. Again, we are talking about prayer that works, that changes lives and situations. Prayer is about relationship, fellowship and working with God through the Holy Spirit's leadership and Word based petitions, to see His kingdom established.

Prayer is multi-faceted, from just fellowshipping, to making legal Word-based petitions, to intercession for others, to bold declarations of faith, to authoritive decrees against Satan and his kingdom.

We encourage you to join us as often as you are able.

Every Sunday children from ages 3-11 are welcome to come along to our Children's Connect, a program aimed specifically at children to teach them the Word of God and to release them into all that God has called them to be. We aim to encourage children that God hears and answers their prayers and that He has a wonderful plan for their lives. Recently, the children have been learning about trusting God in everything. This has been taught by using Bible stories with themes of trust. For example, David & Goliath, and Daniel & the Lion's den - they both had to trust God for protection. The children are invited to share their experiences and then discussions take place around the theme. Children's Connect engages children with a variety of mediums - stories, songs, prayers, craft & colour activities in order to Connect with Children from all walks of life and to usher them into the presence of God and lead them into all that God has for them.

Children's Connect commences on completion of the offering message.
