When disaster strikes, an epidemic breaks out, terrorists attack or nations enter into conflict, it is never God's fault. Anything that involves the loss of lives is the work of the enemy (John 10:10). The Holy Spirit wants to expose, frustrate and overturn the plans of the enemy therefore, we want to pray for prevention as well as restoration of the will of God in current events.

Prayer points

1. Prayer for prevention (exposure of the plans of the enemy)
   • Terrorists who are planning the death of many people
   • Nations who are secretly making plans to attack other nations
   • Ask for revelation of famine outbreaks, epidemics and natural disasters
   • Proverbs 12:7, "Wicked are overthrown, but house of the righteous will stand."
   • Ephesians 5:11, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."
   • John 3:20, "God's light exposing darkness - secret plans exposed"
2. Prayer for restoration of the will of God in areas of conflict and calamity
   • Nations that have been affected by disasters, wars and terror
   • Opportunity for the Word of God to be preached in these places
   • The Church in that region to be empowered to act in Jesus' name
   • Injustice to be overturned, grant repentance to evil leaders, spiritual strongholds destroyed
   • Acts 4:29-30, "God granting boldness to preach His Word, with signs and wonders."
