International Missions

In international missions we are supporting Steve and Sammie Darby. Their Give Kids Hope Ministries in the north of Thailand reaches out to many young girls and also boys who are being targeted by the sex trade. We are believing with Steve that God will provide him with $50 000 to buy the land that borders on his property and expand the orphanage and staff accommodation needed to expand the work.

Prayer Points

1. Prayer for favour and increase
   
   • Favour with the authorities and open doors to the churches in the region and overseas
   • Building permits and finances to expand the accommodation and ministry centre
   • More staff, workers and volunteers to support the work
   • Give Kids Hope Ministries is victorious, steadfast and abounding in fruitfulness (1 Corinithians 15:57-58)
   • Give Kids Hope Ministries reaches out with healing and salvation (Psalm 67:1-2)
   • Give Kids Hope Ministries operates in prosperity and health, even as their soul prospers (3 John 2)
2. Prayer for strength and health
   
   • Steve's health and supernatural strength to continue and be able to carry the workload
   • The children to be kept safe from any plans of the enemy, sickness and depression
   • The Joy of the Lord to be their strength, to give them rejoicing instead of sorrow
   • No evil to befall them, no diseases in their dwellings and angelic protection (Psalm 91:9-11)
   • Nehemiah 8:10 "The joy of the Lord is your strength"
3. Prayer for wisdom
   
   • Being able to relate to the parents and people in the different tribes and villages
   • Making decisions based on revelation and discernment from the Holy Spirit
   • James 1:5 "God gives abundant wisdom to those who ask in faith"
   • Colossians 1:9 "To be filled with the knowledge of God's will, in all wisdom & understanding"
